Practice Focus
Bob’s career at Sheehan Phinney spans more than 40 years. As one of our senior members, his peers and the media have often recognized him as one of the state’s legal leaders. Bob represents professional practices such as physicians, dentists, architects, accountants and attorneys assisting them with formation and then with general representation across a wide range of organizational and business issues. He also helps regional transportation; moving and warehousing companies comply with the ever-increasing number of state and federal laws and regulations. He counsels many small business entities from start-up through expansion as they deal with changing structures, employment and growth matters. In addition, Bob has a long-term practice with not-for-profit organizations.

Community Involvement
Throughout his career, Bob has given a tremendous amount of personal time to the Greater Manchester community. He currently serves as: a Director of New Hampshire Catholic Charities; a Trustee and Vice Chairman of Camp Belknap (YMCA); an Honorary Director of Delta Dental Plan of New Hampshire; President and a Director of the Kevin T. McHugh Scholarship Fund (Trinity High School); the Director of Selective Service for New Hampshire; a Director of Amoskeag Industries, Inc.; a Trustee of Manchester Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc.; Director and Past-President of New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Inc.; Director and Vice Chair of Manchester Sports Council, Inc.; and Founder and Secretary of the Hampshire First Bank Board.
His past service on various committees and boards includes the American Stage Festival; the Bank of New Hampshire Advisory Board; Chairman of the CenterPlex (Verizon Center) Committee; the Diocese of New Hampshire Regional School Board; the First NH Bank Regional Board; the New Hampshire Traffic Safety Commission; the New Hampshire State Prison Board of Trustees; New Hampshire YMCA; Numerica Savings Bank; and as State Chairman of the NH Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. In addition, Bob was a Director and served as Past President of both the New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra and the New Hampshire YMCA.
