(February 20, 2007. Manchester, NH) - Ken Viscarello, a shareholder of the law firm Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, was selected for the Chair-Elect position to the New Hampshire Special Olympics. He will serve in this position for one year, at which time he will become Chairman of the Board.
Ken is the Chairman of the firm's Corporate Department. He has a diverse practice concentrating in affordable housing development utilizing low-income housing tax credits. He also represents a number of contractors and developers in the preparation and negotiation of construction and architect's contracts. In addition, Ken represents regional and national commercial lenders in connection with complex lending transactions. He has practiced with Sheehan Phinney since 1986.
Ken has been very active with the Special Olympics for a number of years. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2000-2002, and, since 2003, as a member of the Board of Directors of this organization. In 1998, he was elected Treasurer of New Hampshire Special Olympics. He also served as Chairman of the New England Council of the Special Olympics from 2000-2001. From 2002 to the present, Ken has served on the Special Olympics United States Leadership Council, a national organization that provides support to local state chapters of the Special Olympics.
