Recalde, a director of the regional law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA, will be speaking at a workshop entitled E-mail Marketing - Keep It Legal. The professional development workshop is hosted by the South Shore Women's Business Network. This workshop will provide an overview of legal issues to be addressed concerning the use of e-mail for marketing purposes. Specifically, what businesses need to know in light of new legislation to minimize their exposure to liability and run a legal e-mail marketing campaign.
Attorney Recalde focuses her legal practice on Internet and e-commerce law, as well as on intellectual property, unfair competition and complex business litigation. She also provides general corporate representation to emerging companies. In addition, her practice encompasses litigation involving non-competition agreements, theft of trade secrets, unfair and deceptive business practices, and trademark and copyright infringement in both state and federal courts. She also practices before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
