"David Allen has experience in both the private and public sector in the field of finances and litigation. We are pleased to add him to the team," DiBrigida said.
Allen will assist companies of all sizes with various matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts and securities regulation.
Before joining Sheehan Phinney, Allen served as counsel for the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation where he enforced the state's Blue Sky laws in actions involving investment advisors, broker-dealers and retirement plan providers. Before embarking on a career in law, David worked as an accountant at Putnam Investments in Andover, MA, and an analyst for Pan Agora Asset Management in Boston.
Allen is a 1999 cum laude graduate from the University of New Hampshire and received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2005. Allen is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and is licensed to practice in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts state courts.
